After the Pro model, Honor has now launched the Play 80 vanilla version with a stylish camera bump and a long battery life, offering a minimal and convenient user experience. Let’s explore the key features and specifications of this device in detail.
Honor Play 80 comes in three shades: Lake Blue, Azure Sky, and Inky Black Rock. The first two models have a flowy pattern on the back, while the Black variant has a solid matte look, giving a classy vibe.
Design is another highlight of this phone. Unlike the Pro variant, the new Play 80 smartphone features a slightly rectangular camera bump with two lens rings and a pill-shaped structure for the LED flash.
The dimensions include 167 x 77 x 7.89mm and a weight of 186 grams. It uses a 6.75-inch TFT LCD screen with a 1600 x 720 pixels resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, 16.7 million colors, and an enhanced Eye Protection mode, offering natural-like light.

Honor Play 80 features a single 13MP rear camera with 10x digital zoom and a 5MP selfie snapper on the front. It installs a 5300mAh battery with 65 hours for the screen time and 3.4 hours for calls.
Other features include a special Media Call Volume Mode that improves the playback sound effects, noise suppression, and dynamic sound effects. It has a knuckle screenshot, Magic Capsule, and an AI button that brings enhanced EASY MODE for elders.
The pricing details of the device are currently missing. But the Honor Play 80 is available in four RAM + storage variants: 4GB + 128GB, 6GB + 128GB, 6GB + 256GB, and 8GB + 256GB.
