After Huawei, Honor wide foldable has started taking shape in the leaks, and the latest one suggests a significant capability for the rumored device – stylus support. A new piece of information suggests that a new Honor folding phone is on its way.
Weibo tipster @SmartPikachu revealed that Honor has recently received approval for its “wide foldable” phone project along with stylus support and other key specs.
The tipster has tagged Honor Magic V7 in the leak, suggesting that the new folding device could debut as the successor to this year’s book-type flagship Magic foldable.
Inputs revealed that Honor has filed foldable screen panel and stylus details for its new creation. As per a previous leak, the device may debut in the first half of 2027.
Honor has mostly used stylus support for its book-type foldable phones to date. Magic V6, V5, and many other horizontal dual-folding devices feature a stylus. But such an addition was absent for the Magic V Flip clamshell series.

But looks like the tech giant is trying to follow its former parent Huawei in this aspect. The Pura X Max foldable debuted this year with a stylus that allows users to do free-hand writing, scribbling, drawing, and perform other tasks quickly.
Unlike the first Pura foldable, the new model brings support for a stylus (M-Pencil) to further enhance the user experience. And Honor is probably planning a similar approach with its rumored “wide foldable” phone. Though, how far the leak proves to be accurate would be known later.
