Huawei is sending a new update to Watch GT Runner 2 users globally, which unlocks more sports features. The smartwatch is already an athlete-based device that brings various running-related functions. Now the firm is adding some more tweaks.
Watch GT Runner 2 debuted on the global stage in February this year at the “Now Is Your Run” event. Thereafter, the company introduced a special Racing Legend variant for this smartwatch with certain enhancements.
In the current scenario, the standard Huawei Watch GT Runner 2 is getting a new update with extra sports features. The firmware is tagged with the HarmonyOS 6.0.0.155 version and a software package of 36.8 Megabytes.
Speaking of the features, the company has added a new function to stop the workout automatically as soon as you hit your main target. To ensure that this feature is working efficiently, you need to enable “Auto-Pause” in the Goal Reach segment.
Another feature is deleting a specific training record by simply opting for the “swipe left gesture”. The smartwatch now also supports RAI (Running Ability Index), displaying your particular training data more precisely.
