Huawei today officially scheduled the Watch Buds 2 for the April 20 New Product launch event. In addition, the company has shared the very first look of the new wearable, implying that it will introduce major upgrades over its predecessor.
Watch Buds was launched in the market in late 2022. After three and a half years, the company is ready to bring an iteration for its most innovative wearable model.
And today, the Chinese tech giant shared the first official look at the long-awaited Huawei Watch Buds 2, alongside confirming its launch for April 20. It says:
“Watch headphones 2-in-1 wrist, new sound, very different. At 14:30 on April 20, HUAWEI Pura series and full-scenario new product launch conference #HuaweiWATCH# Buds 2 is with you!”
Speaking of the first close-up look, the new Watch Buds 2 gives a vintage vibe. It has a plain brown leather strap showing saddle-colored thread stitches on the sides.

The device has retained the same 2-in-1 design as its predecessor – but this time, it looks more refined. It looks similar to a regular Huawei wearable from the outside but packs two earbuds inside. All you need is to tap on the push button to flip the frame.
Huawei has seemingly improved the hinge structure of the watch as well as promises to offer a new sound experience with the symmetrical octagonal cylinder-like buds.
Other key features and specifications of the new Huawei Watch Buds 2 are behind the scenes at present. Although the company may drop more highlights of this new wearable before unveiling it officially next week.
