More details of the rumored Huawei 7-inch phone have leaked on the Chinese social media platform and this time, the information revolves around the battery and chipset. Based on the revelations, it seems the handset will focus on the mid-range market.
DigitalChatStation has recently shed light on the battery and chipset details of the rumored Huawei 7-inch phone. It also said the device will belong to the mid-range segment.
According to the leaked revelations, the new 7-inch smartphone will use an LTPS display panel with 1.5K resolution and a high refresh rate, probably more than 120Hz.
LTPS or Low-Temperature Polycrystalline Silicon is a high-performance, thin-film-transistor (TFT) display technology. It delivers higher energy efficiency, superior resolution, and faster response times over a-Si or LTPO display tech solutions.

- 1 x Cortex-A77 high-performance core @ 2.4GHz
- 3 x Cortex-A77 mid-performance cores @ 2.19GHz
- 4 x Cortex-A55 efficiency cores @ 1.84GHz

For the battery, the tipster said that the device could feature a larger cell pack but didn’t mention any comparative model. Based on the chipset and other details, it seems the 7-inch smartphone will exceed Enjoy 90 Pro Max’s 8500mAh capacity.
Rumors have it that Huawei is working on a 10000mAh battery. If we go with the latest leaked information, the company might use this cell pack for the alleged 7-inch handset.
