Nova 15 series sales are consistently reaching heights – a sign of strong growth of Huawei in the mid-range smartphone market. According to the latest data, the sub-flagship lineup has sold around 3 million units due to its new look and meaningful upgrades.
RDObservation on Weibo revealed the Huawei Nova 15 series sales data in the Chinese smartphone market for the fifteenth week of 2026, totaling about 3 million units.
The exact shipment figure is 2.9138 million units, indicating that the lineup has driven rapid growth in the mid-to-high-end phone market, right from the beginning.
While some smartphone sales slip after a certain period in the market, the Huawei Nova 15 series maintained a steady “positive growth” trend in this competition.
All thanks to Huawei’s strong market strategy, where it not only changed the device’s design to gain attraction but also added surprising components – like dual multispectral cameras, Kirin 9010S chipset, a bigger battery pack, and more.

Further, the company has maintained stable pricing for the Nova 15 series despite the rising memory chip cost. Overall, the respective lineup is a perfect example of cost-effectiveness and modern upgrades.
In the latest edition, Huawei is up with the next-generation Nova phones. It will likely ditch the Ultra variant this time in favor of a PRO MAX model. This is another market strategy – instead of keeping the Pro Max version exclusive to the Mate lineup, the company is adding this member to its every smartphone brand.
Besides, the Nova 16 series may bring interesting shifts in terms of design, battery, mobile processors, and imaging capabilities. It would be worth seeing if the upcoming lineup gains similar traction as the current Nova 15 models in the market.
