Honor is ready to bring another budget-friendly smartphone for consumers in China – Play 80 Plus. The device has recently appeared on a database, confirming its existence and revealing a few prime specifications ahead of its official release.
The Honor Play phone series generally focuses on gamers and the budget-conscious consumer market. It provides high-end performance at a competitive mid-range price. It often debuts with the tagline “Crazy Fast and Crazy Smart”.
In the latest edition, Honor has listed the Play 80 Plus smartphone on the China Telecom database. The device appeared with the model number LAB-AN00, showing its key design, specifications, storage variants, and more.
Starting with design, the Honor Play 80 Plus shows an iPhone 17 (vanilla version)-like camera bump on the back with two imaging rings housed in a pill-shaped cutout.
Meanwhile, the entire back panel is covered with a sea-like wavy pattern in a blue shade. The front side has thick bezels surrounding the screen with a single punch hole.

According to the listing, the Play 80 Plus will bring a 6.61-inch LCD screen with a right-angled frame design and a SIM card slot/charging port at the bottom. The device is said to have the SM4450 chipset, which is the Snapdragon 4 Gen 4.
Other specs include MagicOS 10 (Android 16) and a massive 7500mAh cell capacity. It may bring a 13MP single rear camera and a 5MP front-facing snapper. The device has three shades: Floating Gold, Midnight Black, and Aqua Blue, and the following variants:

- 6GB + 256GB
- 8GB + 128GB
- 8GB + 256GB
- 12GB + 256GB
The company hasn’t revealed the launch timeline for this device, nor has the database. Though it may soon hit the consumer market.
