Two months back, Honor launched the world’s thinnest tablet, pushing off Apple and Samsung. And now Huawei is ready to snatch the “slimmest tablet” crown from its former subsidiary with the narrowest bezels and a true display panel on the face.
Huawei teased its all-new MatePad Pro Max for the first time today. The tech giant showcased the complete design of the flagship tablet alongside its key highlights.
Although something that makes the MatePad Pro Max take the center stage is its slimness. The device has become the world’s thinnest tablet with just 4.7mm thickness.
While the MagicPad 4 launched earlier this year measures 4.8mm, Huawei’s new creation is even thinner. It not only defeated its Chinese rival but also the global tech vendors like Apple and Samsung in the slimmest tablet fight.

Besides the slimmest tablet win, the Huawei MatePad Pro Max has one more special corner – bezels. Honor MagicPad 4 also features ultra-narrow bezels measuring approx. 3.9mm to 4mm. But Huawei’s tablet is going to land with just 3.55mm bezels.

MatePad Pro Max comes with 3.55mm ultra-narrow bezels that give a quite boundless look to the screen. It appears like a pure and limit-free immersion to the eyes.
That’s not it! MatePad Pro Max is a tablet without any notch or cutouts at the top of the screen for the front-facing camera. Instead, Huawei has seamlessly integrated the lens inside the bezels, seemingly showing it as a hidden front camera.
