Huawei scored a significant growth in the Q3 2025 global smart band race, while Xiaomi has topped the segment. Both Chinese brands have an equal progress rate. Though one of them won the game whereas the other aims to reach the pinnacle.
Omida has shared the global smart band shipment report for the 3rd quarter of this year, where brands like Xiaomi, Apple, and Huawei have entered the top three ranking.
Starting with Huawei, the company has achieved 13% year-over-year growth and has brought the sold wearable units to the 8.1 million mark with a 14.8% market share.
Despite a sleek progress in sales, the company has ranked third in the Q3 2025 global smart band leadership chart. The credit goes to Band 10, which debuted with a restyled look, new features, and better health monitoring capabilities.
Band 10 eventually helped Huawei expand its footprint in the smart band wearable segment. It would be worth seeing what more changes the OEM is planning for the next-generation smart band wearable.
As per the chart, Xiaomi ranked first with 9.6 million shipments and 17.6% of the market share. Just like Huawei, the company is also witnessing a growth of 13%.

iPhone maker is in the second spot with 9.0 million unit sales and a market share of 16.6%. Samsung came fourth, selling 4.7 million wearables with an 8.7% market share and a decline of 2% in the overall progress rate.
Garmin is the fifth ranker in this global smart band listing with 2.9 million unit sales and 5.2% of the market share. But its growth is the highest among all brands – 25%.
The global smart band market grew by 3% to 54.6 million unit shipments in the third quarter of this year. It a reflected a notable shift towards premium devices.
Jack Leathem, Analyst at Omida, said:
“Smartwatch vendors need to bolster native software and services while working closely with third-party app and service providers to embed new features that enhance user experience and deliver more seamless connectivity.”
