Huawei has recently unveiled new products in the Chinese smartphone market which has increased its share to twice that of Apple’s. The tech giant currently holds a quarter of the entire market compared to other competitors like OPPO and Apple.
SmartChipInsider revealed the Chinese smartphone market performance in the 19th week of 2026, where Huawei devices account for a larger share than Apple’s iPhones.
The 19th week reveals (May 4th to May 10th) data. During this period, the new Huawei Pura 90 Pro smartphones were in the market with their glorious look and top features.
No doubt, the Pura 90 series strong sales momentum in the market pushed the company to the first rank with 25.55% in the Chinese smartphone market share listing. Huawei holds over a quarter share in the mobile phone ground in week 19 of 2026.
Meanwhile, the Enjoy 90 series with a special PRO MAX variant continued to rule in the entry-level smartphone market, surpassing all iPhone 17 models for the first time.
OPPO is standing in the second place with 15.83% of market share. This particular share is divided into three phone brands – OPPO, OnePlus, and realme.
Vivo and iQOO have scored a market share of 15.62% in the 19th week of this year and appeared in the third spot. The fourth rank goes to Xiaomi (for the Xiaomi and Redmi phones) with a market share of 14.49%
Fifth place is for Apple, which owns a market share of 13.08%, whereas Honor has ranked sixth in the smartphone competition. Let’s see if Huawei will continue to hold the same position in the second quarter of this year or not.
