Amid new phones and tablets, Huawei is rumored to have a FreeClip 2 Collector’s Edition in the pipeline, which will likely bring major design changes over its standard sibling. A new piece of information has shed light on this matter in more detail.
Weibo tipster @FixedFocus noted that the Huawei FreeClip 2 Collector’s Edition may bring design changes to the table. It can appear different in looks from the base model.
In case you are wondering whether these shifts are related to colors, then there is seemingly more! The tipster said the FreeClip 2 Collector’s Edition will not only bring changes in terms of colors, but also enhance its charging case.
Huawei will probably upgrade the appearance of the new open-back earbuds and may add some interesting accessories to them. Although the exact shifts the company will make in the design or what new accessories it will bring are uncertain for now.

On the other hand, the new accessories are said to optimize the storage of the earbuds in the case. Perhaps the upcoming revelations on this matter will clear the air.
FreeClip debuted in 2023 with a C-bridge design and an oval-shaped case. In 2025, Huawei launched the iteration of this product, but with certain changes in the looks.
The Huawei FreeClip 2 continued the signature appearance of the C-bridge look but appeared on the stage with a redesigned squarish-format charging case, which is more compact than the first-generation audio wearable.
As of now, the Chinese tech giant is planning to unveil the Collector’s Edition to their open-back earbuds. Though its launch timeline is still under wraps.
