Huawei HarmonyOS 6.1 feature update is now making its way to the Watch 5 global users. The new firmware packs various additions like interesting watch faces, enhanced health features, and some improvements to the existing capabilities.
Watch Ultimate 2 has also received the new software upgrade. Now Huawei is bringing the HarmonyOS 6.1 version to the global Watch 5 users with big enhancements.

HarmonyOS 6.1 introduces a new watch face with some animated cute, tiny characters that react when you tap the display, play the music, activate the screen, or put your smartwatch on the charger. Thus, you get a more interactive UI.
In addition, the company has optimized the sleep analysis and added a new Nap Summary feature that will detect your short sleep phases during the day and then create a personalized analysis. It also brings smarter running training.

- Adds the Sweet Companions watch face, which lets you choose from different characters and personalize its features. Playful animations appear when you tap the watch face, play music, turn on the screen, or charge your device.
- Adds the Dream Star watch face, where you can customize the background and complications.
- Introduces the Nap Summary feature, which tracks your naps and creates a custom summary.
- Allows you to track your running performance so you can control your speed and conserve energy.
- Enhances the outdoor cycling experience by displaying virtual cadence, virtual power, gradient, and bike type. When paired with a physical power meter. It also calculates FTP values for better performance.
- Displays your running route, cycling route, and VO2max on the Health Insights map on the Assistant TODAY.
