Honor is improving the messaging experience for its smartphone users with the new YOYO features. In the latest edition, the company’s virtual AI agent has launched its first A2A collaboration with the WeChat app, resulting in seamless communication.
Li Jian, the Honor CEO, today announced that YOYO is the first Android AI assistant to achieve A2A-grade collaboration with Tencent’s WeChat and bring an enhanced messaging experience to users with new features.
A2A refers to Agent-to-Agent technology. Honor has now launched a new and advanced-level AI integration system that enables YOYO to converse as well as share tasks directly with external applications, here – WeChat.
With the new technology, users can control certain functions and tools of the WeChat app without even opening it. Just tell YOYO to send messages to a specific contact, command it to initiate a voice or video call, and more.
The CEO says Honor YOYO can auto-complete the entire chain of tasks in a single command – from semantic understanding and WeChat interface calls.

It further relies on a dual authorization mechanism that ensures both the data security and privacy of users remain protected. At the same time, it meets the cross-app interaction requirements. Li states:
“Honor YOYO has become the first smart assistant to achieve A2A cooperation with WeChat, simplifying complex tasks with AI and truly enabling users to send WeChat messages in one sentence.”
The new A2A feature is coming to all Honor devices. Users just have to long-press the power button to wake YOYO and initiate a command like sending a text or making a WeChat call. Make sure WeChat and YOYO are running on their latest versions.
