Magic 9 series will debut as the 2026 Honor flagship lineup, and it could be the first in the family to feature an AI stylus. While the company already uses such an accessory for its foldable models, it may now bring it to the regular handsets as well.
As noted by Weibo tipster @SmartPikachu, the Magic 9 series can be the ultimate Honor smartphone lineup to bring an AI stylus this year. The OEM seems to have some unexpected upgrades for its upcoming creation.
The tipster adds that Honor will make in-depth adaptations to its new-gen Magic devices with many professional third-party productivity apps. Being an AI-powered pen, the accessory will further elevate the Magic 9 series efficiency for users.
Styluses are mostly limited to foldable models and tablets. It not only brings comfort for writing and scribbling on the screen but also enhances precision, improves productivity, and prevents fingerprint smudges.

Samsung is the first brand to popularize the stylus in the phone category. It launched the first “S-Pen” phone in 2011 – the Galaxy Note. The company paused integrating a stylus with its premium Galaxy models for some time in between. But things are back on track as the S26 Ultra brings S Pen support.
Motorola also has a separate “stylus smartphone” lineup. Looks like Honor is ready to follow suit with the Magic 9 series, but in a more productive way with an AI stylus.
According to the leaked inputs, Honor will include AI pen support in the Magic 9 series. What exactly the new addition can bring on board is unclear at the moment.
This new move for Magic 9 series will unlock the next level of competition between Honor and Samsung flagship devices. Whether the latest leak turns out to be true or becomes a rumor would be worth watching.
