Honor has a compact 8-inch tablet with an ultra-high refresh rate in the pipeline, and more details of this device have begun emerging online. The new creation is expected to debut soon with ultra-narrow bezels and probably a punch-hole-free look.
As noted by DigitalChatStation, Honor is working on a small tablet with an 8-inch OLED screen and ultra-high refresh rate. The device also features narrow bezels, providing a smooth and wider display area.
Refresh rate details are unclear. Though the upcoming compact tablet may use over 165Hz, ensuring fluid scrolling and highly responsive gaming or pen inputs.
The company has launched several compact tablets to date, ranging from 8 to 9 inches. These models are highly portable and great in terms of reading, live streaming, or simple tasks. One of the best examples is the Honor Pad X7 tablet.
But in the current edition, the company seems to have an even smaller Pad model in the pipeline that will debut in the time ahead. Unlike the X7 tablet with an 8.7-inch display, the new creation can use only an 8-inch screen.

The upcoming compact tablet can use a flagship chip from the Snapdragon 8 Elite series. Despite a smaller size, one doesn’t have to worry about the device’s performance.
Adding more, the tipster said that the new Honor tablet could belong to the WIN family. The company has already launched a new phone and PCs in this lineup. Perhaps the OEM is planning to complete this lineup with a tablet.
Being a compact tablet, the tipster suggested that it might be named Honor WIN Pad Mini. The tech giant hasn’t officially revealed any details about this device. However, the air will be clear soon from this model.
