HarmonyOS 6.0 upgrade rate is 98%, user satisfaction is 50%

HarmonyOS 6.0 installations have reached more than 66 million devices, and Huawei has revealed how this has become possible. The company said that the upgrade rate of HarmonyOS 6.0 is 98%, showing users’ interest in the software version.

Gong Ti – the President of the Software Department in Huawei Consumer Business Unit, announced that the HarmonyOS 6.0 version’s upgrade rate has reached 98%.

Meanwhile, the user satisfaction rate of the top HarmonyOS applications is more than 50%. It reveals that both the OS and its apps are delivering the best experience.

In the past couple of years, Huawei has completely adopted in-house chips and OS for its devices. Besides, it has focused on expanding HarmonyOS use to almost every device. From consumers to enterprises, many products rely on HarmonyOS.

The company is also constantly increasing the number of native applications and services. Even though its devices can’t run GMS, they still offer many apps that prove to be a better alternative to those running on Android.

Huawei is now aiming to expand HarmonyOS globally. It is already serving the latest versions to its smartwatches and flagship earbuds. But its global smartphones still depend on an old EMUI software, which has simply stopped upgrading further.

HarmonyOS 7.0 Stable will roll out in the market by this fall. By that time, the Mate 90 series will join the stage with more impressive features and AI capabilities.
