Honor is preparing MagicOS 11 in full swing, and following its competitors, it looks like the company will also feature a Liquid Glass-inspired UI with the new software iteration. Some new details on this matter surfaced online, detailing the interface.
The official MagicOS page on Weibo reported that the new software version will bring Android’s first Liquid Glass UI. While iOS and HarmonyOS have already launched such an interface, Honor is set to follow suit soon.
DigitalChatStation now reports that Honor MagicOS 11 will support three main UI elements – dynamic wallpapers + liquid glass + HDR effects at the same time.
According to the official details, Honor is readying a major visual upgrade for its devices with the MagicOS 11. It will showcase more translucent panels and depth effects, softer glass-style widgets, and a more layered as well as polished design.
MagicOS 11 will probably bring two core features:
- Liquid Glass: It will add a glass-like UI layer
- Light Flow: Motion, lightning, and transition effects

Simply put, users will see a full-screen liquid glass on the home and lock screens. Both icons and wallpapers will appear transparent – like a glass. It’ll bring a unique flowing liquid effect to the screen, making it look more intuitive and appealing.
The company has also worked significantly on dynamic wallpaper effects. It will not get stuck when in use. Besides, the bottom tabs on the home screen, media widgets, Smart Magic capsules, call interface, and other animations are getting improved.
Inputs suggest that Honor is applying new animation settings to MagicOS 11. Users will observe a more consistent visual design, smoother transitions, and lighting effects with more depth and transparency.
Overall, the new software iteration will be more than just a redesigned UI. It will unlock a whole new UI experience for Honor phone users.
