Xiaomi fixing bunch of screen and UI issues with new HyperOS update


Following the weekly bug report, Xiaomi has now officially revealed the set of screen and UI issues it is fixing for its affected devices with the HyperOS 3.0 update rollouts. You can check these improvements in the list alongside their models.

One of the official Xiaomi pages on Weibo has shared the progress of the weekly issues. The software team has addressed several problems in the past few weeks.

Most of these issues were related to the screen and UI on Xiaomi devices, but the company has started working on improvements to these defects and will fix them fully with the new HyperOS 3.0 software update.

As for now, the company has fixed the UI quirk where the device faced an odd exposure compensation during horizontal shooting in some scenarios. Redmi Turbo 4 with HyperOS 3.0.2.0 is the main device facing this issue.

Redmi Turbo 4 users can install the new update to get rid of this problem completely. Some other issues that Xiaomi is still working on and fixing in the coming updates are as follows:

  • Automatic screen lock upon app unlocking in some cases (Device: Xiaomi 17 Pro Max; Version: HyperOS 3.0.32.0)
  • Inability to modify bottom shortcuts (Device: Xiaomi 17 Pro; Version: HyperOS 3.0.30.0)
  • Inaccurate screen usage time statistics (Device: Xiaomi 17; Version: HyperOS 3.0.30.0)
  • Can’t pull down the status bar in some cases (Device: Xiaomi 15 Pro; Version: HyperOS 3.0.5.0)
  • Time and date don’t display on the lock screen (Device: Xiaomi 15 Pro; Version: HyperOS 3.0.5.0)
  • Issues with app customization, system crashing (Device: Xiaomi 14 Pro; Version: HyperOS 3.0.4.0)
  • Issues where App Store downloads fail due to data restrictions (Device: Xiaomi 14 Pro; Version: HyperOS 3.0.4.0)
  • NFC feature is unavailable, and Theme Store content doesn’t display in some cases (Device: Redmi K70; Version: HyperOS 3.0.2.0)

The company is currently resolving all the above-listed issues. It will soon release a permanent fix to these defects with the new HyperOS 3.0 update.
