Huawei is rolling out a very special update for the global Pura 70 users that unlocks new calling features. The company is adding the VoLTE and VoWi-Fi HD capability to the flagship smartphones to enhance the overall calling experience for users.
VoLTE (Voice over LTE) and VoWiFi (Voice over Wi-Fi) voice calling require internet-based technology to offer clearer calls and more services to users. Though these call functions operate on different networks.
The former uses a 4G/LTE mobile network for calls, allowing for voice and data use with faster call connections at the same time. Meanwhile, VoWiFi requires a Wi-Fi network to make and receive calls in no cellular signal.
In the current scenario, Huawei has pushed a new EMUI update for the Pura 70 smartphones in the global market, offering VoLTE and VoWiFi calling features.
Apart from these HD voice call additions, the company is also optimizing the system stability of the devices in some cases. Thus, you will observe a stable and bug-free experience.
Pura 70 smartphone users can identify the new software update with the EMUI 14.2.0.228 version and a package size of 1.6GB. You can check the changelog below:
