July 2026 is here and Huawei announced “price hike” adoption for its devices but it looks like Pura phones may not undergo this challenge. A new input suggests that the company could make a strong move that can once again put pressure on Apple.
Rising component and memory costs have affected many smartphone brands in the market. While Apple, Samsung, and Huawei were considered tough players in these challenges, both the iPhone and Mate makers announced price adjustments.
But things are still going smoothly for Huawei. As noted by @FixedFocus, the company may not adopt a price hike for the upcoming Huawei Pura phones.
According to the tipster, most of the future Huawei device prices will remain the same as the previous-generation devices. And this can impact Apple’s sales in China.
The iPhone maker has already mentioned that it will increase the price of its upcoming handsets. If the iPhone 18 series and foldable debut with a sharp price jump over its predecessor, then the Pura series with stable pricing can lead the sales race.
Meanwhile, the Mate 90 series is also in rumors to skip the price increase. It is, though, unclear as per the tipster. The company hasn’t revealed anything specifically on this subject yet. Perhaps more revelations will be out in the coming days. Stay tuned.
