Honor ROBOT PHONE is reportedly coming in August this year with several impressive imaging capabilities, and a 200MP main camera is likely part of this setup. A new leak now reveals more details about this sensor ahead of the official debut.
As noted by tipster @SmartPikachu, the Honor ROBOT PHONE will feature a 200MP main camera. Some early inputs already dropped clues about the new imaging sensor. However, the latest leak adds further insights.
The tipster said the new 200MP main camera will deliver ultra-stable and high-end photographic performance. It can ensure crystal-clear live streaming and unlock other interesting video shooting capabilities.
Unlike regular smartphones, the ROBOT PHONE has a unique gimbal camera setup on the back. It is a pivoted support system that enables the imaging segment to move and rotate freely around, keeping the scene stable regardless of the movement.
Since the 200MP main camera will be attached to the gimbal, it will ensure extreme stabilization in every aspect – from capturing your favorite moments to recording all types of angles at different places.

Honor has used a 200MP sensor for many devices to date. Whether it’s an N series phone or a flagship model, the company has upgraded the lens as per the device’s demand and provided a high-quality photography experience to its customers.
Many Honor devices even surpassed Apple’s premium handsets in the camera battle. The best example is the Magic 8 Pro that excelled the iPhone 17 Pro Max in the low-light zoom battle.
