Huawei Pura 90 series is ready to step on the global stage, but there’s a catch with its name – it will likely launch globally as the Pura 90s lineup. A new leak suggests that the company will unveil the Pura S models exclusively for the international markets.
Early rumors claimed that Huawei would soon introduce an S-tagged model to the Pura 90 series. It could debut as an enhanced/refreshed/Lite Edition in China.
Though @SuperDimensional on Weibo now reveals that there is a notable correction in this statement – the company will launch the Huawei Pura 90s series globally.
Following the leak, some netizens suggested that the company will only unveil Pura 90s Pro and Pura 90s Pro Max. And there won’t be any third s model. All these confusing points will get clear by next week – at the official launch event.

Details state that the tech giant will unveil three Pura 90s models in the overseas market – the standard 90s, 90s Pro, and 90s Pro Max. All three variants will be the same as the Chinese siblings in terms of appearance and certain specs.
A video leak further indicated that the company will follow the same gradient color approach for the new Pura 90s devices. However, it is unclear if the firm will use similar internal parameters to those of the Chinese variants.
Huawei will launch the Pura 90s series globally on July 14. The company has started teasing the new lineup and its key highlights. A recent teaser shed light on the 20x telephoto zoom camera, which promises sharper and clearer details for distance shots.
More details about the new flagship smartphone lineup will soon appear on Huawei’s global X page.
