Honor reportedly has several tablet devices in the pipeline, and one of these belongs to the WIN family with probably a 2-in-1 form factor. The company is seemingly working on a device that can offer the benefits of both a compact tablet and a PC.
According to the Weibo tipster @SmartPikachu, Honor is developing a new gaming large-screen device – WIN tablet with a 2-in-1 form factor. The model could feature an 185Hz ultra-high refresh rate screen.
But the highlight is that the device will debut as a gaming tablet. It may have a new AI gaming assistant. Besides, it could expand to the PC mode with more enhanced connectivity. Thus, one may also use the device as a computer.
Devices with a 2-in-1 form factor bridge the gap between a portable tablet + a fully functional PC. Since it is a WIN model, Honor’s upcoming creation can be a gaming device that will also enable users to work efficiently in PC mode.
The tipster adds that the new Honor WIN tablet will support some fun tools and features. It may not bring any native applications. Although the company may develop custom accessory support for third-party apps.
Early inputs reported that Honor has an 8-inch compact tablet to launch in the second half of this year. Based on the details, the currently leaked details are for the same tablet alongside 2.5K resolution.
Other details of the new tablet device are unclear at present. Though more revelations are on the way and will likely hit the internet soon.
