Honor is busy with several incredible product preparations, and one such is a compact, flagship-grade tablet that may launch later this year. A new piece of information suggests that the company has “one more” small tab device in the pipeline.
DigitalChatStation has shed light on Honor’s new tablets coming in 2026. To begin with, the tipster stated that the rumored small, high-performance Honor tablet might not have a cellular version.
Since the hardware component prices continue to increase in the market, the company may skip a cellular variant for the 8-inch OLED tablet. Such a model usually has a built-in mobile modem that supports a SIM card and accesses relevant services.
Following the leak, many netizens questioned why brands are unwilling to launch a cellular variant for their tablets. The tipster responded that it’s mainly due to the growing cost that may eventually impact consumers’ demand in the market.
While the news might sound like a disappointment, the tipster added that the Chinese tech giant is also readying a flagship-grade, compact Honor tablet to launch later this year.
The tablet will belong to the MagicPad Series and follow a small-sized form factor with an advanced OLED screen panel. It will be positioned as a premium device in the market and may come along with a SIM card variant as well.
The tipster hasn’t revealed the new tablet’s name yet. On the other hand, the company has not commented on this piece of information or announced any details regarding the mysterious tablet product. Though it may soon drop a few hints on this matter.
