Here comes another product for Huawei July 14 Global Launch Event – the MatePad Air 2026. The company has announced one more device that will debut alongside the Pura 90s series in a cute and elegant design, paired with interesting features.
Huawei has dropped a new teaser on the official global X page, revealing a dynamic product – the MatePad Air 2026. It also gave a slight glimpse of what the tablet looks like.
Looking into the teaser, the new-gen Airy tablet appears to be thinner and lighter than the previous model. It will come in pastel colors like pink, light green, and sky blue, giving an elegant feel to customers.
The device seems to differ in terms of look as well. Unlike a Nova-like camera bump on the back used for the 2025 model, the new MatePad Air has a slim pill-shaped cutout module on the rear side.
Caption of the new teaser reads:

In addition, the teaser image showcases a stylus and an ultra-thin keyboard for the new tablets. These accessories hint that the company has paid close attention to productivity with the MatePad Air 2026 tablet.
Huawei hasn’t detailed any other specifications or features of the new Airy tablet yet. Though as we are inching closer to the launch event, the company has started hyping its upcoming products more rapidly. Perhaps it will reveal more details of this tablet in the coming days. Stay tuned.
