Huawei is bringing a flagship phone feature to the MatePad Pro Max – a 3D photo wallpaper. The top-end tablet is receiving the new capability with the HarmonyOS 6.1.0.130 SP17 version alongside some other enhancements for a better experience.
3D photo wallpaper in an interactive background to your device that adds more depth to the screen. The feature uses the gyroscope and accelerometer sensors of a device to move the image when you tilt the handset for a life-like three-dimensional effect.
The Chinese tech giant has already offered this amazing addition to many top-end smartphones to date. But the 3D photo wallpaper feature is now coming to the Huawei MatePad Pro Max tablet.
After applying the wallpaper, users can simply shake the tablet or use the two-finger swipe gesture on the lock screen to witness a real-time 3D motion on the display.
One can access the new 3D photo wallpaper capability on their MatePad Pro Max by visiting Settings and then Home and Personalization. Select Wallpaper > 3D Photo.
Some other changes for the slimmest tablet include screen mirroring for the Education Space and optimizations for sound effects. You can check the changelog below.
New Feature
- Added a new 3D photo wallpaper feature. Shaking the tablet or swiping the lock screen with two fingers will cause the lock screen to respond in real time, displaying a 3D effect. Every time you turn on and unlock the screen, you’ll experience a visually rich transition (Settings > Home and Personalization > Wallpaper > 3D Photo)
