Huawei FreeClip 2 S has now stepped on the global stage, showing its iconic treasure box-like design and enhanced audio features. Earlier, the company showcased the new earbuds in Japan. Now it is unveiling them at the global level for more markets.
FreeClip 2 S is basically the rebranded version of the FreeClip 2 Collector’s Edition. After introducing the new open-back earphones in China, Huawei is bringing them to overseas consumers.
The Huawei FreeClip 2 S goes global in two premium colors: DeepSea Blue and Space Silver. It comes in a dome-shaped charging case and follows these dimensions:
- Earbuds: 25.4 x 26.7 x 18.8mm; weight – 5.1 grams
- Charging Case: 37.4 x 48.6 x 48.9mm; weight – 39.4 grams
Starting with the design, the new dome look box offers 20% extra space and is just perfect if you are looking forward to an accessory collection. Besides, the C-bridge earbuds have 25% softer liquid silicone and have gone through 50+ meticulous steps.

Huawei has seeded an advanced NPU AI chip that delivers a 10-times boost to computing power. It not only enhances audio and voice processing but also provides ultra-clear calls and textured sounds with rich details.
The tech giant has also packed a 10.8mm powerful dual-diaphragm driver unit with a frequency response range of 20Hz to 20kHz. In terms of battery, the earbuds have a 60mAh cell while the charging box contains 537mAh.
Both together can offer up to 38 hours of listening with the case and 9 hours of listening (only earbuds) on a full charge. A 10-minute boost can let it run for 3 hours, playing your favorite music.
Other features count adaptive volume as per your surroundings, adaptive voice enhancement for calls and podcasts, crystal-clear calls, auto left-right recognition for earbuds, unlimited spatial audio with dynamic head tracking, and these gestures:
- Press and Hold: Wake your voice assistant for instant answers to your daily questions.
- Swipe: Adjust volume or change tracks.
- Tap: Double-tap to answer or end calls. Triple-tap to play the next song.
- Head Control: Accept or end calls by nodding or shaking your head.
