Honor to soon launch budget-friendly tablet in Malaysia with 45W adapter

Honor is developing a budget-friendly tablet called the Pad 20 Pro for the global market, and it may first launch in Malaysia with a 45W power adapter. A new certification for the respective device suggests that the company will soon introduce a cost-effective product for consumers with slightly upgraded specifications.

The tech giant unveiled the Pad 20 large-screen device in May this year for its home-ground customers. Now the company is up with another budget-friendly tablet – Honor Pad 20 Pro with a 45W adapter, which will soon launch in Malaysia.

According to the information, the company has listed the Honor Pad 20 Pro on the Malaysian SIRIM certification database and the TUV SUD platform.

SIRIM is one of the most important certificates for a product shipping to Malaysia. As per the certification, goods like electrical appliances, wireless devices, and building materials should comply with Malaysian safety standards for sale.

TUV SUD, on the other hand, is a global third-party endorsement confirming that a product, service, or management system has passed safety and quality tests.

In the latest scenario, the Honor Pad 20 Pro has appeared on these platforms with MLA-W09. The new listing also hints that the tablet’s launch is around the corner.

Further details reveal that the Honor Pad 20 Pro will support 45W wired fast charging. Being a global tablet variant, the device has slightly inferior charging specs to the standard Pad 20 with 67W charging.

Honor Pad 20 Pro has started appearing on the certification database and may soon be available in the market.
