Huawei will equip the Nova 15 series with enhanced Kirin chips that will stabilize the performance internally. But what if we say that the upcoming smartphones will deliver a power boost like the Mate handsets? Yes, there seems to be a possibility!
Nova 15 series will follow the regular chip strategy. The entry-level model will bring a Kirin 8 processor, while the high-end phone variants will use a Kirin 9 chipset.
But there could be a twist this time! Instead of seeding the Kirin 9 series SoC only in the Nova 15 Ultra version, the company could use it in the Pro smartphone as well.
FixedFocus noted that the standard Huawei Nova 15 will bring Kirin 8020 chip while the Pro and Ultra phones will pack Kirin 9 processor to offer the best performance. Following the leak, netizens speculated a Mate phone-like functionality with Nova 15.
The tipster didn’t reveal the exact Kirin chip for the Nova 15 series. It’s still not confirmed whether the high-end models will use Kirin 9020 or an overclocked 9010s. Or if the company has some other plans for the Nova 15’s chip part.

For now, one can only expect better performance improvements over the previous-gen Nova lineups. Meanwhile, other details about the Nova 15’s efficiency and operation fluency will come into the light during the launch event on December 22.
Apart from performance, Huawei has significantly worked on the Nova 15’s imaging segment. The company has also reshaped the devices in terms of look and offers a “never-before” design to the 2025 Nova handsets.
All three Nova 15 models slightly differ from each other when it comes to appearance. How? Well, you can check this difference in the link given below.
