Xiaomi 17 Ultra is really taking imaging technology to a whole new level with a rotating camera ring in the Leica Edition. Yes, users can get ready to witness a professional DSLR camera-like experience with the all-new Ultra flagship phone!
Ahead of tomorrow’s launch, Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica Edition has appeared in a new teaser featuring a Master Zoom Camera Ring. The device has a unique rotary mechanism to control the ultimate 200MP continuous optical periscope sensor.
While consumers weren’t very happy to see the simple and huge circular camera module on the back of the new handset, the company removed the curtains from a very eye-catching component in this segment!
Looking into the video teaser, users can rotate the camera ring just like many other conventional cameras, and enjoy a Pro-like feel with the new flagship phone.
This particular physical mechanism will enable users to manage Xiaomi’s most powerful telephoto camera. It is a 200MP sensor with a 1/1.4-inch format with the continuous optical zoom technology (75mm to 100mm focal length)
Even though the Chinese tech giant didn’t confirm the rotating ring on the camera bump for controlling the lens, it has tagged the teaser with the caption:
