Huawei Mate 80 models have become the fastest-selling Mate phones in the market to date, but one variant that has been a hot demand for the past few days is the Pro Max “Aurora Blue” color phone, especially in some parts of China.
A Weibo tipster noted that the Mate 80 series phones are now available at the Huaqiangbei wholesale markets and are in full swing among users for their top features.
Huaqiangbei is a massive, world-renowned electronics market district in Shenzhen, China. It is known as the Silicon Valley of Hardware as it has all types of products like phones, drones, PCs, chips, cables, DIY kits, repairs, and more.
The tipster noted that the recently launched flagships are now open to this market, and the most “hot-in-demand” model here is the Huawei Mate 80 Pro Max Blue color variant. And the reason is super surprising!
Well, the Mate 80 phones are coming to Huaqiangbei market at different prices. For instance, the vanilla version 12GB + 256GB costs 4300 yuan. Meanwhile, the Mate 80 Pro prices vary slightly as per its RAM + storage parameters:

- Mate 80 Pro (12GB + 512GB) = 6500 yuan
- Mate 80 Pro (16GB + 512GB) = 7750 yuan
- Mate 80 Pro (16GB + 1TB) = 8800 yuan
Although the price for the Mate 80 Pro Max continues to see ups and downs due to its color variants. For instance, the 16GB + 512GB Blue variant is priced at around 8300 yuan, while the same color with the 1TB variant is for 9400 yuan.
In all color options, the Mate 80 Pro Max with the Aurora Blue shade has the lowest price – 9400 yuan (1TB variant). Whereas the Midnight Black costs 9750 yuan, the Polar Silver is available for 9550 yuan, and the Gold model is priced at 9600 yuan.
Hence, the color + pricing is the main reason for making the Mate 80 Pro Max Blue variant the hottest demand and value for money product in the Huaqiangbei markets.
