Huawei is adding another special member to its storage solutions – the eKitStor Xtreme 201 solid-state drive. The flagship technology has some enhanced capabilities over previous generation data storing techs. Let’s check its parameters.
The eKitStor Xtreme 201 drive is one of the finest storage solutions in the Huawei family. The company says that it can use up to 4000TWB within 5 years!
Well, that’s equivalent to downloading 110 medium-to-large-scale games daily and producing at least 80 hours of daily vlog videos, or creating 4360 professional PSD artworks daily.
It further supports NVMe 2.0 and four channels of PCIe 4.0. Besides, the respective storage solution has a reading speed of up to 7400MB/s that improves the multitasking fluency and offers seamless data transfer or boot speed.
On the flip side, it can utilize the system memory as a cache buffer with random 4K read and write performance reaching 100K IOPS and 1300K IPOS respectively.

eKitStor Xtreme 201 has an average mean time between failures of up to 2 million hours, leading the industry by 500,000 hours. Thus, it can deliver greater peace of mind and reliability over other storage tech solutions.
It can efficiently deal with temperature and consumes less power. The new SSD is available with a 1TB storage version at JD.com with a price tag of 899 yuan.
