Honor Magic 8 RSR Porsche Design can bring a new as well as surprising telephoto camera upgrade to the board. The device will likely debut in the first quarter of this year with brilliant imaging traits, and a new zoom sensor will be part of it.
DirectorShiGuan noted that Honor is preparing a breathtaking telephoto camera upgrade for the upcoming Magic 8 RSR Porsche Design flagship. As per the tipster, the zoom lens of the new device is truly something look forward to!
The tipster added that the new telephoto upgrade in the Magic 8 RSR can easily beat flagship smartphones with a focal length ranging from 5x to 50x efficiently.

For comparison, the Honor Magic 7 RSR introduced a 200MP ultra-clear periscope telephoto camera with f/1.88 ultra-large aperture and 1/1.4-inch size format.
It supported 3x optical zoom with OIS capability and 100x digital zoom. This lens uses a 1G + 5P floating periscope technology concept and dual electromagnetic focusing motors coupled with the 1200 LiDAR array focusing system.
As a result, it enables users to create macro masterpieces and easily shoot wonderful moments coming their way without any additional effort or Pro-like camera kits. Perhaps the next-gen model will level up this game with its upgrades.
Magic 8 Pro already excels in periscope camera. It would be worth seeing if the RSR smartphone variant borrows any zooming technology from its Pro sibling.
