Honor’s upcoming Magic phone is generating a lot of buzz in the market, but it seems the device will soon face a formidable rival with a powerful camera technology, named Xiaomi 17 Air! After the Ultra flagship, Xiaomi is now up with an Airy device.
Whether Xiaomi will join the ‘Air’ phone trend or not has been a major discussion among consumers. Lu Weibing, the President of Xiaomi, stated that even though the Air device is an innovative approach, it has certain non-beneficial aspects.
Following the senior official’s statement, it appeared as if the brand is the least interested in joining this game. But Xiaomi 17 Air has finally started taking shape!
Weibo tipster @DigitalChatStation revealed that a smartphone maker is working on a new phone, which will be a direct competitor to the Apple iPhone Air.
Netizens speculated it to be the Xiaomi 17 Air. The tipster added that this handset will feature a 6.59-inch mid-sized screen with a metal frame and a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor to deliver a boasting performance.
Although the highlight of Xiaomi 17 Air can be a 200MP camera sensor, the biggest imaging lens among all Air devices. The device will feature a dual-cam setup with a gigantic main snapper. Though Xiaomi has yet to confirm these details.
It might exceed Honor Magic 8 Pro Air in the battery and slimness game with a 6000mAh cell and a 5.xmm thickness. It could weigh around 165 grams. Other features include eSIM technology and a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.
Xiaomi has yet to confirm these features for its alleged Air device. Though we can expect to see a dynamic competitor against the iPhone and Magic 8 Pro Air this year.
