Huawei FreeClip 2 earbuds are bringing the wake-up feature to more third-party apps on Android devices. Users can now open these apps and perform certain actions through gestures and voice recognition.
Launched last year, Huawei FreeClip 2 uses Huawei’s third-gen self-developed Kirin chip with smart AI capabilities. The chip enhances the power efficiency up to 10 times. The earbuds add a HarmonyOS AI assistant that can be accessed from within the wearables. Users can broadcast messages and translate content in real-time.

The earphones feature a 10.8mm open-back dual-diaphragm acoustic unit, which improves loudness by 100% and low-frequency power by 100%.
These are equipped with a 60mAh battery, empowering 9 hours of playback in a single charge and up to 38 hours with the charging case, which houses a total of 537mAh capacity. Moreover, users can get 3 hours of additional power with only a 10-minute charge cycle.

FreeClip 2 supports L2HC audio encoding. It supports smart volume adaptation, voice enhancement, and spatial audio with head tracking latency reduced by 40%. These smart wearables come with NearLink audio technology for high-quality sound transmission between the device and the wearable.
Furthermore, these wearables have design upgrades, including liquid silicon material, which is skin-friendly and combined with high-performance memory metal to improve softness by 25%. The low-weight of earbuds (5.1g each) and IP57 dust and water resistance rating improve the all-around user experience for long-duration use cases.
