As noted by tipster GuoJing, the Huawei Nova 16 series could equip the all-new Kirin 8030 5G chip. The chip was rumored to debut with the 15th lineup. But the company seemingly had different plans for the horizontal camera bump phones.
Even though the core configuration of this new Kirin version is currently unknown, it is expected to be a flagship-level chip with a prominent performance boost.
The tipster revealed that the new Kirin 8030 chipset will bring the maximum extent of computing power this time. The CPU will retain the highest efficiency, ensuring that users experience super fluent operations without any lags or buffering.
Following the leak, some netizens speculated that Huawei could introduce the Kirin 8030 chip for the standard and Pro models, while the Ultra may get the 9020B chipset.
