Honor may soon challenge 8000 nits display devices with a new phone featuring 10000 nits brightness. The company has several interesting creations in the 2026 pipeline, and one of these will take your viewing experience to new heights.
A new post from Weibo leaker DigitalChatStation offers the latest updates on an Honor phone’s display tech breakthrough, battery capacity, and a potential hurdle.
The leak says Honor is testing a new “big battery” phone with a display featuring 10000 nits brightness. If true, the viewing experience will reach a whole new level.
Per the post, “The upcoming new phones are pushing specs to the extreme – not only are battery capacities hitting the 10000mAh+ mark, but peak screen brightness is also to reach 10000 nits.”
Over the past few months, phone makers have significantly focused on “brightness” part of their devices. Huawei began this trend with the Mate 80 flagship supporting 8000 nits peak brightness, giving perfect visibility – no matter how hard the sun is.
