Xiaomi has recently fixed a major camera exposure issue for its high-end devices. The company has been releasing many hotfix updates for those phones suffering from some or the other problem, and the latest update is no exception to this theory.
According to the official community, Xiaomi has solved an irritating issue related to the camera exposure for its devices. The company is rolling out the new fix update and will soon drop it for all eligible devices affected by the issue.
Speaking of the problem, Xiaomi 14T uses noticed an ISP Exposure Sync failure while using the camera app. They have been struggling with an instant white flash in the viewfinder while adjusting the focus. It mainly affected the HyperOS 3.0.1.0 version.
On the other hand, the POCO X6 Pro 5G smartphone users reported that the background media player would often terminate when using other apps, particularly when the HyperIsland is active. Instead of Transient, it used to request Permanent Audio Focus.

1. Camera Issue
- Affected Version: HyperOS 3.0.1.0.
- Fix: The engineering team isolated the faulty code and instantly discontinued the affected ROM. It has also added a relevant patch to the subsequent stable firmware release.
2. HyperIsland UI
- Affected Version: HyperOS 3.0.3.0
- Fix: This logic error did not require a full OTA firmware update. Xiaomi developed a cloud-based hotfix to the specific system component, correcting the audio priority protocols
