It’s been a couple of months since the Honor 500 series was released in the Chinese smartphone market, and the lineup has now made a new win in the sales department. It seems the iPhone Air-like digital series has gathered a lot of attention.
RDObservation revealed that the Honor 500 series has now exceeded one million sales in the Chinese smartphone market. The lineup made this achievement in the fourth week of 2026, reaching approximately 1.0725 million unit shipments.
Honor 500 series debuted in November 2025 with a beautiful iPhone Air-inspired design and pretty colors. It also introduced new camera features and an outstanding battery technology that ensured efficient performance throughout the device.
The company has launched the respective lineup, targeting the mid-range market and gave a tough spot to models like OPPO Reno 15 series, Redmi phones, and more.
Looking at the journey of the Honor 500 series in the sales market, the shipment has grown by 110,000 units in just a week. And here’s the clear data of this figure:
- First week of 2026: 740,000 units
- Third week of 2026: 961,200 units
- Fourth week of 2026: 1 million units
From the above-mentioned points, it seems clear that the Honor 500 has become one of the fastest-growing models in the mid-range market for the time being.
Honor 500 and Pro handsets are quite the same in terms of look and key specs. But the difference lies in the camera and processor. The former has a dual-lens setup and the Pro has three powerful imaging sensors. It also packs the industry-exclusive Honor Phantom Engine to boost the gaming experience.
Coming to the chipset, Honor 500 equips the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip, whereas the Pro one installs the Snapdragon 8 Elite. Both Honor 500 devices have an 8000mAh battery. They also have features like Live Effect for 3D videos, Portrait Blur effect, smarter connectivity tools, and more.
