Xiaomi 17T Pro has now appeared on the GSMA database, pointing out its launch around corners. The flagship phone has been emerging in leaks for quite some time. But the latest certification has finally confirmed its existence in the pipeline.
GSMA stands for Global System for Mobile Communications Association. It focuses on the security, interoperability, and other components in the mobile ecosystem.
The certification database also inspects smartphones in terms of eSIMs, APIs, and digital finance. A product coming to the global market must pass this certification, complying with high standards for security, user protection, and operational reliability.
In the latest scenario, Xiaomi 17T Pro has passed the GSMA certification, hinting at its imminent launch. The listing has confirmed the moniker of the new device.

Just like the Xiaomi 17 series, the upcoming T-tagged models will also skip the “16” generation. Besides, these models used to land in the market in the third or fourth quarter of every year. But this time, we may see a big change in this part.
According to the details, the Xiaomi 17T and Pro phones can debut in the first quarter of this year. The standard model may equip the Dimensity 8500 chipset, while the Pro could come with the Dimensity 9500 chip.
Being a T-tagged phone, the new flagship can be the rebranded version of the Redmi K90 Ultra handset. Since it will debut globally, Xiaomi might make significant changes to it. Things will get more clear about this phone in the time ahead.
