Early reports revealed that Honor Magic V6 will use advanced hinge technology this time, and a new official video sheds more light on this topic. The firm itself has showcased that the upcoming foldable can show unexpected robustness via a challenge.
Honor has shared a new video teaser on both Chinese and global X pages, showing that the Magic V6 hinge is just stronger than before. It can go beyond expectations.
Firstly, the device will support IP68 and IP69 ratings. The company has also used ultimate screen panels to define the toughness of the foldable over Magic V5.
But what’s even more interesting is its hinge technology. Magic V6 has a Super Steel Hinge that promises ultimate structural integrity like no other foldable ever.
And to prove things, Honor sent Joe Weller – a British YouTuber, former amateur boxer, and musician to Thailand and asked him to try ziplining with the Magic V6. But here’s the twist. He doesn’t have to film his new experience, but actually has to use the foldable to attach himself to the zip-line.
The company says:
“Have your phone on the zip line and challenge gravity! Is it rock-solid or frightened that the heart rate and rate soar? #HonorMagicV6# Can the load-bearing be successful and the “be landed smoothly? The complete challenge is coming soon, and you are invited to witness the limits! #HonorMWC26#”
Now that’s a real challenge to check how strong the Magic V6 actually is over its rivals in the market. Of course, the results would be surprising. But Honor has said to keep calm until March 1, when it will unveil the foldable and its traits.
Honor often takes dynamic challenges to prove its devices are better than other models. And the results of the latest one are worth looking forward to.
