Mate 80 GTS – the rumored first Huawei gaming phone has reportedly entered the mass production phase. The news suggests that the company won’t take long to unveil the most anticipated smartphone in the market, featuring stunning specs.
As noted by SuperDimensional, Huawei has begun mass production of the Mate 80 GTS handset at the Songshan Lake Base. The tipster added that the device will likely go official in April alongside the Pura X2 foldable.
The tipster further shed light on the key parameters of the Huawei Mate 80 GTS smartphone. According to the details, the new GTS model could be the first handset in the Huawei family to feature a 7.2-inch dual-layer OLED magnificent screen.
Display
While the largest screen model in the Huawei smartphone family is the high-end Mate 80 variants, the upcoming GTS handset could break the boundaries with a dynamic 7.2-inch display panel.
Besides, it may continue the superior dual-layer OLED screen to enhance the viewing experience for users. Early inputs suggested that Huawei will be the only brand this year to utilize tandem OLED displays for its top-end phones and tablets.
Chipset
The leak reveals that the Mate 80 GTS will use an improved Kirin chip. It seems Huawei will increase the frequency of medium and large cores to boost the performance power of the new smartphone, making it a true gaming creation.
