On March 3, Honor unveiled the MagicAgent AI intelligent model at the MWC 2026 stage. The Chinese tech giant has introduced this ultimate against the OpenAI GPT-5.2 series, outperforming it in six core aspects of an intelligent AI model.
OpenAI GPT-5.2 is a high-performance, agentic AI model series crafted for complex reasoning, advanced coding, and improved vision capabilities. Now, Honor is here to challenge this technology with its own creation.
Honor MagicAgent is the industry’s first agent foundation model designed for general purposes. It is also the company’s first MoE (Mixture of Experts) AI LLM.
MagicAgent supports YOYO task planning and turns on automated YOYO task execution. Eventually, it forms a closed loop from instruction parsing to multi-step action completion. It can also handle complex tasks and cross-domain workflows.

The company has further open-sourced this AI solution for all worldwide developers. Speaking of the benefits, Honor said the new AI model is a 30-billion-parameter lightweight architecture with high-efficiency and advanced planning capabilities.
It can maintain lower computational overhead and offer an incredible experience. The MagicAgent even enables other intelligent agents to coordinate diverse tasks across different application environments.
Honor calls this new solution the “brain of the YOYO” AI agent. The tech giant added that MagicAgent will accelerate the industry’s collaborative development of an intelligent agent ecosystem, and looks forward to cooperating with partners across the industry chain to create a new paradigm of smart living.
