Huawei Watch GT Runner 2 is available in the global market and it looks like the company is now opening its launch window in China. The OEM has now officially teased the all-new running smartwatch for its home ground consumers.
Today, the company shared a new video teaser confirming that the new Huawei Watch GT Runner 2 is coming soon to China. While the firm has not revealed the exact launch date, it showcased the beautiful colors and new strap technology.
Looking into the teaser, Huawei showcased the bright Orange + Purple variant of the Watch GT Runner 2. Though it would be interesting to see if the tech giant introduces any “Chinese variant-exclusive” features.
Describing the new shade, the company said:
“The all-new Huawei WATCH GT Runner 2 in Dawn Orange is light and vibrant, with an orange-purple gradient that flows across your wrist, welcoming the rising sun and making every step you take shine!”
Inputs further suggest that Huawei has opened the pre-order doors for the Watch GT Runner 2 for Chinese consumers. One can visit the VMall online store to reserve the new smartwatch beforehand and get perks like priority delivery.
Huawei unveiled the Watch GT Runner 2 in global markets on February 26 alongside several amazing products. With this release, the firm revived the RUNNER wearable craze among consumers. Now it’s ready to expand this fame on its home turf.
Most of the features will be the same as the overseas variant. For instance, 14 days of battery life with 32 hours of outdoor workout mode, compatibility with iOS and Android devices, and more. Though the firm may integrate some special enhancements to the Chinese model.
