Huawei is working on some exciting creations for the second half of this year, and one of them appears to be a 7-inch mid-ranger smartphone. Apart from an “Air” iteration for the Mate 90 flagship family, the company may also bring a cost-effective large-screen phone to the consumer market.
Weibo tipster @SmartPikachu noted that Huawei seems to have a 7-inch mid-ranger smartphone with a large screen in the 2026 pipeline, in addition to the premium-grade Air handset.
The company has been in the rumors for launching a 7-inch handset in the market. Although it hasn’t mentioned any key details on this matter yet.
Multiple leaks suggested that Huawei is readying a 7-inch quad-curved display phone. While the company is already adopting flat screens for many of its devices, it could once again introduce a curved screen handset.
In the comments section, some netizens asked if the company also has a small screen plan. In response, the tipster said that Huawei doesn’t have one for the flagship lineup at present. Perhaps it might release such a type in the mid-to-low-end category.

Amid the compact phone trend, the company is trying to bring up a new large model in the industry. After Honor’s ROBOT PHONE creation, Huawei is also seemingly working to alter the form factor of its regular devices to some extent.
