Huawei has recently launched the slimmest Pro Max tablet in the market, though it seems the company will soon release a small model to this series as well. Input predicts that the company is working on a compact big-screen MatePad device.
Weibo tipster @FixedFocus has now mentioned that Huawei has a new small Pro Max tablet in the pipeline. The device is codenamed Dali and will arrive soon on the stage.
Adding more, the tipster said the new creation is more like a compact version of the MatePad Pro Max. It is a highly worthwhile purchase, and one can look forward to it.
The company unveiled its first PRO MAX tablet in May this year. It was not just a flagship MatePad product but also became the world’s slimmest device to date.
The list of WOW factors also contains a giant 10400mAh battery and a Kirin T series chipset, which is equivalent to the Kirin 9030 Pro mobile processor.
Meanwhile, the Chinese MatePad Pro Max debuted with a multispectral lens for the first time in Huawei’s history. Looks like the OEM is now up with one more interesting tablet model for the second half of this year.
On the other hand, Huawei is working on the MatePad Mini 2 and some more tablet iterations, booked for H2 2026. A few of these new tablets may show up alongside the Mate 90 smartphone series, tentatively scheduled for September.
Huawei hasn’t confirmed any of these products yet. However, the leak is coming from a credible tipster. Perhaps more details will become clear in the time ahead.
