Huawei is sending a new EMUI 15 update for the Mate X6 foldable users and this firmware brings call optimizations. It adds certain functionalities that will uplift the calling experience for users. At the same time, the update will boost the overall device’s stability.
According to the details, Huawei is rolling out VoLTE and VoWiFi HD voice functionalities for the Mate X6 handset. These call tech solutions claim to provide superior audio quality, instant call setup, and simultaneous 4G data browsing efficiently.
VoLTE refers to Voice over LTE, which uses the 4G LTE packet-switched network for calls to offer faster connection times (in just 1 or 2 seconds) and high-definition audio. It even allows users to surf the internet at high speeds while on a call.
On the other hand, VoWiFi stands for Voice over Wi-Fi calling, which allows your phone to use a Wi-Fi connection to make calls and send SMS when the mobile signal is low or just unavailable.
Thus, the Mate X6 users will get an improved and more efficient calling experience irrespective of the signal reach or other factors. Besides the new additions, the company is also improving the device’s stability to offer a reliable user experience.
