Yesterday, Oppo started teasing the global launch of the Reno16 series in partnership with the K-pop girl band BABYMONSTER. The phones were clearly supposed to be launching soon, but an actual announcement date was missing.
Now, the company has rectified that, revealing that the Reno16 series will be unveiled on June 25. The devices will first launch in Thailand and Spain, spreading to other markets afterwards.
The handsets feature the new “3D Pop Planet Design”, with “a bold and distinctive aesthetic inspired by cosmic visuals and the idea of every individual as a vibrant little planet”.

The global Reno16 and Reno16 Pro will very likely be different from the Chinese versions that launched back in May. Exactly how different remains to be seen.
