HarmonyOS 7.0 will debut at the HDC 2026 event with interesting features + smarter capabilities, along with a Celia AI assistant in a whole new avatar. The company is planning to further enhance its virtual agent with the next software iteration.
As noted by the Weibo tipster @FixedFocus, HarmonyOS 7 will likely bring an “all-rounder” Celia AI assistant. Huawei will revamp its digital agent once again for users.
Following the leak, some other tipsters in the comments section mentioned that the upcoming Celia AI assistant will be far better and smarter than its previous versions.
The main leak suggests that the new AI assistant will launch as a complete helper or your personal digital bot that can respond to your tasks at any time, any place.
Celia is an artificial intelligence virtual assistant for Huawei smartphones, tablets, and smart wearables. It enables users to perform hands-free tasks, make calls, translate languages, or manage smart home devices accordingly.

Over the years, the company continued to upgrade its virtual assistant. For instance, HarmonyOS 6.1 brings a special Celia companion AI feature for new Pura phones that helps in almost every type of operation – from office to photography.
Huawei even seeded self-evolution capabilities into the Celia AI assistant, which is similar to a human brain. Thus, the HarmonyOS 6.1 companion feature is capable of recording users’ habits for a long time, offering a subtle user experience.
As of now, it’s time for HarmonyOS 7 to bring on some really eye-catching upgrades to the table and a much smarter Celia AI assistant. The ultimate AI agent’s functionalities will probably be first visible in the Mate 90 and Mate X8 flagship phones.
Let’s see what else changes Huawei is planning to bring for its smartphones, tablets, and wearables with the next major software upgrade.
