During MWC 2026 Shanghai, Honor revealed that Agentic OS – the next-gen operating system for mobile devices supports more realistic and smarter interactions. It is based on human needs and ensures that the task execution is more efficient than before.
MWC 2026 Shanghai is taking place and will be live till June 26. Today, it opened the chapter of “AI Implementation: The Era of Autonomy”, where Honor showcased its relevant innovation – Agentic OS.
The President of the Honor Product Line, Fang Fei, stated that Agentic OS revolves around real human needs instead of depending entirely on a single application framework.
And the best part is that the new Honor Agentic OS supports more natural and smarter interactions. It is no longer limited to a single operation of touch screen selection but directly uses the user’s full senses as the entry point of interaction.
For instance, a user can interact with the Agentic OS-based device through voice commands, gestures, eye contact, and even body movements – all these normal actions become the system’s command input methods.
Inputs further reveal that Agentic OS runs on AI agent – a native core that has proactive smart capabilities for all types of scenarios. It can predict a user’s needs, help in planning actions, and auto-complete tasks without requiring users to follow steps.
Besides, it has a unified central smart brain that achieves seamless enhanced collaboration and linkage between multiple devices and smart agents. More details of this new OS will come to light in July. Stay tuned.
